Situated on the Puros Conservancy in Kaokoland, just 50 kilometres from Namibia’s renowned Skeleton Coast, in one of the most remote areas on the African continent.
The seven large guest suites are adorned with individual African artwork and have en-suite bathrooms including indoor and outdoor showers and a bath positioned to give privacy whilst offering views over the seemingly endless lunar-like wilderness. Each has a private shaded veranda with day beds and cushions inviting you to relax in the shade, absorbing your surroundings, daydreaming or star gazing when night draws in.
For a cooling dip and respite from the heat of the day there is a beautifully crafted infinity pool that curves its way around the front of the main lodge offering a place for relaxation and comfortable contemplation.

The uniqueness of this area follows through into the activities that guests can experience at the lodge, which include a visit to a Himba Village where you can learn about the culture and traditions of this fascinating nomadic tribe who have for centuries adapted their lives to survive among these harsh landscapes and a trip to learn about the Desert Lion Project which is run by the Puros Conservancy and Okahirongo.
The lodge also has superb desert adapted vehicles which can be used to venture out into the reserve looking for the fascinating desert adapted elephant as well as the other species such as various antelopes, giraffes and even black rhino and lion that call this desolate region home.
