Accommodation
The unique design of the hotel is inspired by the structure of a fiskehjell, a traditional Norwegian structure used for drying fish. The entire property is set atop poles that elevate you above the water. The hotel’s focus on sustainability doesn’t translate to compromise on luxury or comfort. Inside you’ll find modern interiors with an unquestionable Scandic influence. Corridors are filled with quirky artwork and artefacts with many nods to the area’s local heritage. Its circular shape lends itself to privacy, with a good distance between each of the 94 spacious rooms.
With huge windows, your room will offer fantastic views across this glorious, tranquil landscape. Inside you’ll find touchless technology with intuitive options that further tailor your stay.

Various shared areas in the hotel showcase the property’s sustainability efforts and practices and so opportunities to learn more about this are plentiful. You’ll eat in The Marketplace, the hotel’s zero-waste restaurant where supplies come from local sustainable farms and fishing operations.
