Summer In The Arctic
Some 200 miles from the 60th parallel well and truly place Finnmark in the Arctic. Summer sides with the adventurer, drenching each day in endless sunlight. Valleys flush emerald, purple heather bursts on mountain slopes.

The Samí are descendants of the region’s first nomadic people. As time went on, they moved around increasingly less, switching to herding rather than hunting reindeer. Many now live as coastal fishermen, though some preserve their heritage as herders.
