The greatest attractions are located either side of the Nile in Cairo, Aswan and Luxor, and Africa Exclusive will construct the perfect itinerary to suit the pace you want to travel and the amount of sight seeing you want to include.
Unlike most other tour operators we usually suggest you have your own private guide which meansyou can explore at the pace you want to and focus upon the things that interest you the most, rather than being part of a large group. This can be best achieved if you fly from place to place, staying at magnificent 19th century hotels like the Old Winter Palace which can be your base for seeing the astonishing Valley of the Kings and Queens, and the Necropolis of Thebes and Osiris.
An equally splendid hotel can be found at Aswan, further up the river. The Old Cataract was built under the orders of the original Thomas Cook, has a huge swimming pool, tennis courts and wonderful Nile views. From here you can fly to Abu Simbel where there are two incredible temples which were famously removed from the threat of immersion in Lake Nasser to their current site over a period of four years, they were raised sixty metres up the sand stone cliff where they had been built 3,000 years before.
Africa Exclusive will also take you to Cairo where you can stay at the Mena Palace right next door to the pyramids and you will certainly want to visit the Egyptian museum and take a cruise on the Nile before flying home after your journey back in time
