Namibia Safari

One of the world's most fascinating and beautiful desert regions.

A holiday here will take you to the towering apricot coloured sand dunes at Sossussvlei, the unique Etosha saltpan with its abundant wildlife, the mountainous deserts of Damaraland with their desert adapted elephant and rhinoceros, and the hauntingly beautiful Skeleton Coast.

To see the country in depth, Africa Exclusive will arrange for you to have a private vehicle and a highly expert guide who will take you on an unforgettable holiday of ten to fourteen days, admiring the scenery, learning about the desert adapted wildlife and vegetation, occasionally meeting groups of Himba tribespeople and at night being taken on a tour round the galaxy, zero light pollution bringing out thousands of brilliant stars.

If you want to spend less time but still cover the ground, we can arrange a fly-in safari enabling you to 'dip into' each area for a couple of days before enjoying an eagles eye view as you cut out the journey time by flying between locations. A special fly-in safari can take you to the Skeleton Coast National Park where old shipwrecks, giant seal colonies, desert adapted wildlife and utterly beautiful, spectacularly coloured desert scenery can be enjoyed hundreds of miles from the nearest town or village.

Namibia can be visited all year round and what little rain it gets falls between December and the end of February.

It combines well with a few days in the Cape and winelands, and with the watery expanses of the Okavango Delta.

Why choose Namibia?
Visit Namibia if you want amazingly varied and fascinating wilderness and desert scenery. Some people self-drive but you see and understand so much more if you have an expert guide. Namibia combines easily with Botswana if you want more animals and a watery contrast, and with Cape Town if you are looking for more conventional comfort.
